Brief:

Bengali department was the first honours department of the college. The department was set up in 1959, the year of establishment of the college. Starting from the journey it was general department. The honours subject was introduced since 1995. So this department offered bengali honours course as well as general course. The department always encourage and guide their students for consistency progress in their result and other academic activities.

 

Departmental activities:

Many of our alumni now well established in various fields of Government and private sectors like Teaching, Banking, Rail and other job.
