The Department of Geography was established in 2003, commencing with an Honours Undergraduate program. In 2013, the department expanded its offerings to include a general course. Throughout its history at this institution, the Department of Geography has been privileged to host numerous distinguished scholars. The department takes pride in student achievement's remarkable continuity in academic results and extracurricular endeavours. To nurture a research-oriented mindset among students, the department frequently arranges National seminars, workshops, extension lectures, poster presentations, and wall magazines. Furthermore, the department is home to a cadre of exceptionally qualified educators who are dedicated to fostering the intellectual growth of their students.
